Electrical capacity: when a panel upgrade makes sense

• List current electrical loads and planned EV, heating, solar or battery additions.
• Ask an electrician which part of the system limits the proposal.
• Request the load assessment supporting any capacity upgrade.
• Compare approved load management or different charging rates where suitable.
• Keep utility approvals, permits, inspection and commissioning records.
